Powerful Multimedia Application Platform for Multiple
Vertical Applications
The Multimedia Application Platform (MAP) is built
around the Marvell PXA310 (Monahans) family of
application processors - a cost-effective solution with
up to 624MHz of power-efficient CPU performance, for
video and audio playback. To provide for maximum
flexibility and connectivity, the Multimedia Application
Platform comes with onboard 10/100 LAN, JTAG, USB,
Serial, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g based on Wi2Wi’s
W2CBW003 System-in-Package (SiP). This combination of
interfaces provides for ease of integration into
existing applications as well as ease of configuration
for various vertical applications, such as internet
access devices, digital signage, kiosks, gaming
terminals and digital picture frames. To allow for
integration with an existing enclosure and display, the
LCD panel interface was designed as a daughtercard that
Clarity Design can customize for the OEM to mate to
virtually any LCD panel or display.

application-specific needs for features and form factor
as a stand-alone board or in a custom enclosure.
